Open House

Tomorrow night our school is having (yet another) Open House.  It seems like we just had "Meet the Teacher Night" and then we had a "Curriculum Night" the last week in August.  I almost wish that we would wait and have an Open House toward the middle or end of the year because students don't have a whole lot of new stuff to share since the beginning of the year.  The PTO sponsors this Open House and it's intent is to get parents to sign up for PTO.  This year I'm going to have my students do a "Scavenger Hunt" with their parents around the classroom.  They will use the a list to guide their Scavenger Hunt.  I hope this will help students and parents to be engaged in the Open House tomorrow night.
